At SFA, we offer BA in Theatre with a minor, BA in Theatre with teachers certification and BFA in Theatre which covers directing/acting, stage management and technical theatre and design.

The School of Theatre at Stephen F. Austin State University is one of the most active production programs in the country. We offer our faculty-directed Mainstage Series and Summer Repertory Theatre, and our musical-comedy cabaret troupe, The Original Cast. We sponsor student-directed public and studio productions in the Downstage Theatre (our black box) and the Upstage Theatre (our studio)
