GREENSBORO COLLEGE THEATRE DEPARTMENT offers a BFA in Musical Theatre, Directing, and Production Design/Technical Theatre. We also offer a BA or BS degree in Acting, Costuming, Stage Management, or Theatre Education.
We produce a rigorous theatre season each academic year: between 7-14 productions on the Main Stage. We do not have a Graduate Program (Master’s Level) so you are not competing with Graduate Students for Roles or Design credits. Also, your classes are not being taught by Graduate Students. Our Professors are all respected working theatre professionals.
Additionally, we are not a “cut” program, and we get you onstage performing and practicing your craft in your first year of study. Come visit our program and see our three performance venues, and our large production scene shop.
Theatre majors often carry a Double major here at Greensboro College. Popular double-majors are Business, Psychology, or Religion. Come speak with us about your vision for the future of this artform.
