MARCAS Overview

Welcome to the 2021 Mid-Atlantic Regional College Theatre and Dance Auditions!

In an effort to follow state and university regulations, as well as provide a safe socially distanced event, the MARCAs will have both in-person and virtual auditions.

For information on each discipline's audition information, please click on the button below.

REGISTRATION FEE: $250
Please visit our COVID procedures page before registering.

The registration fee is for one program's attendance at the MARCAs event for up to 4 people, and includes ONE table set up in the event fair.  Additional programs or tables from the same University require an additional registration.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Deadline: October 21st, 2021

This year's registration fee includes both the in-person event on November 6th and access to virtual auditions submitted from those attending out of the area.

*Due to the nature of group dance auditions, the dance component will be conducted entirely virtual.  Recruiters from dance programs are welcome to attend the in-person event to meet prospective students, but this is not required.  All other programs (acting, musical theatre, design-tech) must have an on-site recruiter present for the in-person auditions.

All virtual student submissions will be viewable on November 6, 2021.  Recruiters will be given access to view these videos over a week’s time, and should submit a virtual callback list by November 13th.

Interview Callbacks will be scheduled by the event coordinators for the in-person event.

When you complete your registration it will ask for a date selection when your program will hold a callback/recruitment session for virtual students prior to November 19th, 2021.  You are welcome to host in whatever format works best for your program (Zoom, WebEx, GoogleMeets, Facetime, etc.).

Please remember that these callbacks are not performative, but a chance for students to meet your institutions and get more information about your programs. If you have any questions please contact us at midatlanticauditions@gmail.com.
